Nikon Plan Apochromat 40x microscope objective with cover glass correction collar. The objective sports a whopping 0.95 numerical aperture for sharp, crisp and well color saturated images!
Intended for Nikon Alphaphot, Labophot, Optiphot, Biophot, Fluophot and Microphot series of microscopes. It can be used sucessfully on other 160mm tube length (TL) microscopes from Olympus, Leitz, and Zeiss.
Optically perfect with no fungus, dust, scratches, or element separation. The correction collor moves evenly to adjust for cover glass thickness.
As can be seen in the pictures, some of the front element black mask is sligthly worn off without affecting image quality.Original list price was over $2,500
