* Maximum working tension per foot of belt width given for drum driven applications only.
** 12 gauge (.105" diameter) rods are available for S1, S3 and S7 designations.
*** S8 belting is stocked in 20" and 30" widths, galvanized material only.

All standard duty belts have the following dimensions:
Flat strip = 3/8" wide x .046" thick round edge
Connector rod = 11 gauge (.120" diameter)
Standard duty clinched selvage flat wire belts are suitable for most general conveying applications. These belts are available in three different mesh sizes and widths ranging from 4 1/8" to 240".
Clinched selvage belts have a strong edge that reduces the chance of the belt snagging or catching on conveyor protrusions.
This type of selvage also provides for better edge wear on misaligned conveyor systems and, under heavy loads, clinched selvage helps to mechanically prevent a belt from narrowing.
Sprockets may only be placed in the outside drive openings for the 1" x 1" mesh when using standard duty clinched edge belting. There is not enough clearance in the outside openings of a 1/2" x 1" mesh to be able to position a sprocket in those spaces.

We will do our best to indicate which one of these categories the items fall into and accurately describe the item. In most cases the only thing wrong with the item is that it does not have all or any of its original packaging, maybe a scuff mark or two, or may be missing something. Owners manuals may or may not be included - usually they will be pictured or listed if they are.
