This lathe is capable of cutting metric threads, from .5 to 3.0. I was wrong in my initial description of the machine. The distance between centers is 19". The headstock spindle bore is 17/32". And the machine has 8 speeds (55,120,190,300,430,900,1450,2300). Also, in the pictures of the machine there is no thread dial on the carriage assembly, however, I do have it. I just need to re-attach it to the machine.
