The Hewlett Packard 1090 HPLC systems are the benchmark for precision, reliability and ease of use for HPLC applications. I have new and used deuterium lamps from Sonntek (LH-10) available at about half the cost found elsewhere. Used lamps are pro-rated as follows:
Pro-rate: $50 per bulb, pro-rate 0-2000 hours at 100%-0% of $250. Example: 1000 hours = 50% of $250= $125+50 = $175. Why $50 if over 2000 hours? Each lamp over 0 hours will be tested for stable baseline and a plot at 254nm will be provided (H2O in flowcell of FPD, attenuation at 5 on plotter, +/- 1 pixel at 1cm/min). A 2000+ hour lamp typically still has lots of life.
Sonntek LH-10 works on the following Hewlett Packard / Agilent models:
* 1050 Series LC Variable Wavelength Detector (79853C) and 1050 Diode Array Detector HPLC (79854A)
* 1090 Series I and II (DAD and FPD)
