12' Scintillation Plastic Scintillator Photomultiplier
This is a 12' long plastic scintillator already polished and ready to go. Exact composition is unknown, but is probably Bicron BC-400 or Nuclear Enterprises NE-102, in which case emission wavelength is about 452 nm, refractive index is 1.58, and decay constant is 2.4 ns. Major dimensions are 145" by 4.5" by 1 7/8". Scintillator has one cemented window on each end measuring 2.055" in diameter with 32 tpi threads for attaching light pipes or PMTs.
