System 2000 is a set of components which can be configured in a number of ways to control stages, translators and sensors. System 2000 is based around Queensgate's unique capacitive position measuring technology.
System 2000 consists of a rack unit with rack mount modules for multi channel applications and stand alone single channel modules. System 2000 electronics are based on analog architecture, differing from the NPS3000 controllers which are based on digital architecture.
The S2000 rack will accept up to 15 modules and an optional IEEE 488 or parallel interface. Modules include NanoSensor controllers, translator drive amplifiers, servo modules and a master oscillator.
