Ideal for generator transfer switch installations where the main electrical panel is located indoors and you wish to avoid running the generator cord through a window or door. This rain tight Power Inlet Box can be mounted on the exterior of the house or building, and wiring may be run through the wall over to the transfer switch installation allowing the generator cord from the generator to be plugged into the Power Inlet Box.
* For use with 30A EmerGen Switch Manual Transfer Switch and 30A Output Generators, typically 7,500 Watts

This Connecticut Electric standard Power Inlet Box features a weather proof design making it corrosion proof and paintable. And since the generator cord connection is made with the power inlet on the bottom of the unit, it maintains a raintight rating while in use. A built in Flip Lid covers to keep out nesting insects, dirt, moisture, etc.
