One Full Dozen Fertilized Eggs From Healthy, Vacinated Purebred Buff Orphingtons for Incubation and hatching. Buff Orphingtons are a very friendly and tame heavy breed and excellent at egg production and for the table. They are also natural sitters should you desire to have them raise their own broods. They are considered a heavy breed and produce LARGE brown eggs. Hens can weigh up to 8+ pounds. EXTREMELY hardy, ours continued to produce eggs every day even in the long cold winter we just had. WE had plenty of eggs every day, all we had to do was shovel the snow every day to get to the coops!! Our hatch rate is near 90 % and this can vary depending on your equipment. Be sure to have a good thermometer and humidity meter as this makes all the difference in the world.
