Use these industrial-grade valves for high-volume fluid transfer applications. They offer optimum flow and positive shutoff with minimum turbulence. The check disc responds quickly to backflow with as little as 0.5 psi closing pressure, which reduces "slamming".
Valves are designed for horizontal installations, but you can use them in an up-flow only vertical position. A flow arrow on the valve helps you install them correctly. Choose valves in standard configuration, or with an exterior counter balance. The counter balance helps with positive seating of the valve and shows the position of the discs.
