The Tektronix power filter is a 25 foot cord (for use with standard 12 V automoble Option 76 -GM (P7) Phosphor. +$35 mobile lighter plug with negative ground).
This filter is used to plug in your Tektronix METALLIC CABLE TESTERS into the vehicle lighter, using your vehicle battery power to power up the cable tester, in the field.
NO more dealing with dead batteries or not enough battery power. Hook up the Direct power filter and away you go. Testing for hours with no limits.
