Tektronix TDS544A - board-level refurbished - warranty
This TDS544A has been used in my personal lab. I bought it three years ago for a project but ended up mainly using my other TDS684B. The TDS544A has therefore been stored in my office the last three years. I am selling it to raise funds for new equipment needed for a new project (multi Gbit / second range needed). Note that this Oscilloscope has been board-level refurbished which brings it back to what is as close to as-new condition as possible.
As can be seen in the pictures, both the acquisition and CPU/graphics boards have been fully refurbished. All capacitors are replaced, all parts have been inspected, the heat sink thermal tape has been replaced (tend to dry out causing bad thermal contact), the boards have been thoroughly cleaned with Isopropyl alcohol to get rid of the leaked electrolytic which otherwise with time will result in heavy corrosion of package pins as well as PCB vias. The boards now look and function as new and will result in reliable operation over the next 5-10 years. All controls and connectors have been cleaned with contact spray to ensure no oxidation develops.
This TDS544A is loaded with these options:
* 1F Floppy disk drive Add 3.5 inch, 1.44 MByte floppy disk drive.
* 13 RS-232/Centronics Hardcopy Interface Ports (RS-232-C and Centronics interface ports).
* 1M TDS 540B, 744A, & 784A: To 500,000 samples on one channel, 250,000 on two channels, and 130,000 samples on three or four channels.
* 2F Advanced DSP math Add advanced DSP math features such as FFT, integration, and differentiation.
