Hologic R2 ImageChecker DM M5000 X-Ray Analyzer
The Image Checker M5000 System is the first FDA-approved computer-aided detection (CAD) system for full-view diagnostic and screening mammograms. It is a computer system that identifies and marks regions of interest (ROIs) on routine diagnostic and screening mammograms that may warrant a second review by a radiologist. Its purpose is to help minimize observational oversights. It is important to note that the Image Checker 5000 is not a diagnostic device; radiologists can interpret only original mammograms. By design, the system provides low-resolution images on its monitors, which preludes its use for diagnostic interpretation. The processing unit is an integrated kiosk device consisting of a cart and a flat-panel, touchscreen monitor.
Mammogram X-Ray analyzer. Supported by Hologic. Originally purchased in 2005. Recently removed from service due to upgrade to digital X-Ray technology. Unit boots and scans perfectly. Scanner can be calibrated using the supplied calibration sheets. Will require scanner adjustments in order to complete the processor tests.

The unit for sale is the unit pictured. This item is in Excellent Working Condition.
The unit does show some minor wear and tear, and has a few small scratches and nicks. The paint in warn on the top of the unit and the metal side rails don't snap in place properly. All the physical marks are purely superficial, they do not effect the performance of the unit.
Local Pickup is Preferred. There is a loading dock at my location.
