2003 - Sheet Line, Co-Extruders, up to 120 (305mm) sheet die width by 0.300" (8mm) thickness
Nanjing Giant - Sheet line system (designed for 130" wide sheet die):
- Main Extruder single screw, screw 170mm (6.7 ) diameter, motor 450kw (617 hp), 36:1, vented, screen changer, electric heat and water cooled.
- Co-Extruder: single screw, screw 90mm (3.5") diameter, 90kw (123 hp), 36:1, vented, screen changer, electric heat and water cooled.
System installed in 2003; in 2005 Extruders had Gearboxes (Italy) and Motors upgraded, too increase torque and RPM's.
Complete system: Calendars (chilled rollers) embossing is smooth one of three (3) textured, Former, coolers conveyer, puller, Guillotine (shear), conveyer to stacking table. Last ran September 2008 running crumb rubber, HDPE, HMWPE, TPO 442 and LDPE. Capacity of equipment HDPE, HMWPE sheet at the rate of 5,000 LBS/Hr (w/o the 3.5" co-extruder).

- Control Panel: requires, 1000amp 480v/3p/60hz (four panel total for Sheet Line a safe estimate is 2400-amps total)
- L:D 36:1 (242" screw processing length)
- Center line height 80" (could be lowered; extruder currently on roll away stand 20" in height plus wheels; off this stand the extruder center line is 56")
2.) Co-Extruder: Model - SJ-90, single screw, screw 90mm (3.5 ) diameter
- Gearbox: 130-RPM's output, 2005, Mfg. Zambello (Italy), Type: ZPE2-180-B, Serial# L-12255
- Control Panel: requires, 600amp 480v/3p/60hz (four panel total for Sheet Line a safe estimate is 2400-amps total)
- L:D 36:1 (108" screw processing length)
- Vent (L:D for vent 21:1 or 74" down from rear of feed throat)
3.) Sheet Die: 120" Wide by .050" - .300" thickness Lip Range
4.) Calendars (Chilled Rollers) 134" wide and are titled at 45 angle for LDPE or hard to start materials.
- Rollers three (3) rollers high polish hardened chrome, "Plus" three (3) embossing surfaces: Lavant2, Haircell & Diamond Plate.
5.) Former: corrugating rollers, form ripple or pull down roll if smooth sheet.
6.) Cooling conveyer: roll conveyer with fans
7.) Puller: variable speed with counter to activate Guillotine (shear).
8.) Guillotine (shear): 138" cutting width
