Yaesu ft-7 transceiver + 3 10M crystals - great qrp rig
This is a nice Yaesu FT-7 Transceiver. It can be used as a mobile or fixed rig. I purchased it used about 5 years ago and have used it as a portable rig. It works well. I tested the output on 10 thru 80 meters and the results are as follows: 10m 2.2 w, 15m 5.0 w, 20m 10.3 w, 40m 10.5 w and 80m 3.2 w. These were the average reading at both ends of the applicable band. I know there are some modifications that can be made to increase the output wattage. I have not performed any modifications on this unit. It is built very well. It has some scratches from normal wear.
The FT-7 comes with mic, 12v power cord, manuals, articles on modifications that can be made to the rig, and also the 3 extra crystals for the 10 meter band. The crystals cost $85.00 when I purchased them 3 years ago.
