Insite Variable Area Flow Meters Universal offers variable area flow meters made of see-through plastic with metal or plastic port adapters. You get to see your fluid as well as having all metal pipe connections. These are used for water, compressed air, dilute chemicals (such as those used in water treatment), and de-ionized water. These have the same general characteristics as our vane and piston style variable area flow meters, but they are limited to a lower pressure range, use a different technology for switching, and do not have transmitters.
