Redundancy Control Module (RCM)
The RCM is a single width module that plugs into a processor option slot. The RCM is the key component in a 620 redundant processor system. It is responsible for monitoring the status of itself, its host processor, and the opposing RCM. In addition the RCM, if in the "lead" mode, must transfer the input, output and register table to the opposing RCM and processor every scan.
