Here is a well designed and accurate linear actuator. This unit has a 40.75" travel length (probably rated for 1000 mm, but it can go further than that). This is comprised of an 8" wide heavy duty extrusion. The guides are THK HSR20's. The screw is a precision ground model from NSK. The screw diameter is 20 mm and it has a 10 mm lead. The screw has a 10 mm end journal and a spider type connection coupling is included. This will clamp to a 10 mm motor shaft, but can easily be bored out up to 1/2" or more without a problem. Originally, this was driven using a Sanyo servo motor connected with a timing pulley, but can be driven using the inline spider coupler as well. We tried to picture all hardware configurations for the end depending on the motor drive style you prefer. The screw is supported independently with its own bearings. The black timing pulley bearing that can be mounted to the end as shown was only used to keep the shaft coupler from receiving loads from the tension on the timing belt. The extrusion also has plenty of tapped holes in the end to allow for further end mount options. Limit switches are already mounted in the actuator and are wired out in those gray cables coming out the end of the actuator as shown. The steel mounting feet on the base can be moved to any position along the extrusion.
There you have it. A high precision linear actuator with no backlash or play and a very flexible unit for any system. This is guaranteed in excellent working and cosmetic shape as shown. No rust or corrosion is present. The guides are screw are in fantastic shape and look new.
