Tough, carbon alloy tool steel for longer life. Resist rust and tarnish. For cutting internal threads. Standard, pipe and metric sizes. Produced to exacting specifications. Plug taps have 3 to 5 threads chamefered; general use when tapping to bottom of hole is not critical. (This is the most widely used type of tap). Drill size permanently marked on each tap.
