5MW sky violet blu-ray blue laser pointer green 2009

There's a 2010 new laser color in town!
It all started when a lone Japanese researcher, Shuji Nakamura, began working on developing a bright blue LED. After eight years of research the commercial blue LED was created and two years later he had developed the diode for producing a blue laser. Using gallium nitride crystals (instead of zinc selenide as many others were) he was able to solve a problem that other larger companies had been working on for many years.
Now the blue laser, with a wavelength much shorter than a red laser, is enabling the next generation of high definition DVD players to come to market. It also completes the trilogy of basic colors (red, green, blue) that are now available for handheld laser pointers.
The SKY Blue Laser Pointer is a unique and unusual item and you can be one of the first in the world to possess this special gadget. The 405 nanometer blue laser light is sure to make all other laser pointers green with envy. It will let everyone know that you are a geek to be reckoned with, just like Shuji Nakamura.
Please note that the SKY Blue Laser Pointer is a very new item and although it is expensive, until recently a blue laser could only be purchased for thousands of dollars. This is the newest type of laser available and as a result it's costly just as red and green lasers were when they first appeared for sale.
heavy item not like cheap copies
this is excellent quality not cheap chinese copy

To get blue laser light first you need an infrared laser which pumps a crystal ,this in turn pumps another crystal , which pumps another crystal, in order to get blue light at our our eyes peak sensitivity of 405nm , Because the optics used for generation of blue laser light are less efficient and more expensive than those used for green, blue laser diodes are still expensive but hey ! at least they are available !!
VERY UNIQUE ? YOU THINKS SO ? YOU BET !
Heres our best guesstimate from being in the industry for 8 years of volumes qtys of lasers in relations to colour in the UK
RED LASER POINTER : Possibly reaching a million units as they became mass market from china , reaching millions +++ if you include the diode in your your cd players at home and in cars which would not work at all without a red laser diode !!
GREEN LASER POINTER : Due to price only decreasing to reasonable market levels ( Ie < ?00 ) in the last 18 months and also know the market well and the manufactuers well we guess less than 10,000 units sold in UK
YELLOW LASER POINTER : We are aware of less than 5 sales points in Uk and knowing the manufactuer we guess less than 300 units of Yellow Laser pointer are in UK , priced increased during 08 due to no other markets to increase volume.
BLUE LASER POINTER :Launched in late 05 , very exlusive as very litle volume at present
* Warranty period: 1 Year warranty
