This is a used cartridge dust filter with rotary airlock attached. It is a complete package and was working when it was disconnected. It comes complete with 20" rotary airlock all mounted on a stand and ready to hook up. It was used in a plastic processing plant.

It is made by Rotolok. The motor that is attached to the airlock is a 1 1/2 HP Boston Gear. 208-240/460 volts, Amps-5.3-5/2.5, RPM-1725, Hz 60. The prime function of a rotary valve is to regulate the flow from one chamber to another while maintaining a good airlock condition. The product is mainly in dry powder of granular form. In the dust filtration field good airlocks are essential on cyclone and bag filter application in order that the manufacturers quoted high dust collection efficiencies can be maintained. Airlocks are also important in the pneumatic conveying industry, where product is regulated into a high pressure conveying line while minimizing air leakage.
