POK's new "Quick Stik Technology" is an advanced system that delivers Class A Wetting Agent and AFFF/AR Foam using a solid foam / agent cartridge. Simply load the solid foam stik into the proportioner and you are ready to spray up to 1% foam. QST proportioner can be used with your existing shutoff and nozzles. Features: Proportioner can be used with over 30 nozzle configurations including piercing, mop-up, smooth bore, etc. The agent is dissolved by a stream of compressed water flowing at the optimal rate of 100 PSI. Yield of one cartridge approx. 660 gallons (depends on water temperature). 5 Gallon Pail of Liquid Foam is 70% - 80% Water Many manufacturers of liquid foam agent state in their MSDS that the ingredients and comositions are 70% - 80% WATER which means, you are paying substantial money for water! When you utilize an eductor or a self-educating system and you set it on 3%, you are only getting 0.6% of foam in percentage of volume. Consider the bulkiness and weight of that a 5 gallon bucket of foam. Pyrocom Stiks outperform liquid agents because you are getting more extinguishing agent with even a lower water pressure.
