Vertical Panel Bit offer a method to cut full size raised panels with a smaller router bit requiring less horsepower. This bit is usually run in a touter table with the panel standing on edge and the face of the panel against the fence. Fence must be tall enough to properly support the panel. Use on straight sided panels only since there is no bearing guide for arched or cathedral style doors.
