Groen 30 gallon jacketed steam kettle - natural gas
This is used Groen 30 Gallon Gas Jacketed Steam Kettle. This kettle came out of a local school cafeteria where it was well maintained.
This unit is set up for Natural Gas. It has been tested in our shop and seems to work well. This unit heats up quickly. The thermostat works as designed, and the vacuum is where it needs to be.
The Outside dimensions of this kettle are approximately 30 in diameter x 40 Tall.
Other than cleaning up and testing, we did vey little to this unit. We had to replace the flame sensor, as the pilot light would not stay on. After that, it appeared to work fine.
There are the usual minor dings and scratches associated with used equipment, and the cover is missing where you would light the pilot light, but nothing that detracts from its appearance or usefulness.
Never accept damaged merchandise without making notations on the Delivery Receipt and having the driver sign the receipt.
