Here is a used shop vise that mounts on to a table. On it, it reads; Athol mfg. co. Athol Mass. Made in USA. 324 X Athol. We do not know how old this is but it is heavy. The jaw width is 4 and the length is 19 with the jaw closed. The base hole to hole is 6 abut there is only 3 holes. This is 12 tall; the rectangular locking bar is missing. This opens up to 8 apart with out the vise coming apart. This is about 80lbs by it self. There is some rust, and 2 spots on the top of the jaw that has been hit by a grinder. This does have a swivel on the bottom. There are also marks where this has been beat on by a hammer. We could not find any cracks or breaks. When this is opened up there might be about a 1/16 play in the jaw. This came from a paint shop so there is some over spray on it.
