HOW DOES THE "MOBILE" RIDGID WET/DRY AUTOMATIC DISCHARGE PUMP OUT WORK?
1. Push the "ON" button on the vacuum and vacuum up desired waste water with the 7' foot suction hose provided. When the water reaches a certain level inside the vacuum tank the discharge pump automatically pumps the water out of the tank through a 5/8" garden hose connection to the sanitary sewer or a city permitted area. The 5/8 garden hose fitting can be changed to fit a bigger size hose for bigger debris if needed. Discharge pump flow @ 0" - 3600+ gph. This Flow is more than sufficient. Once set-up the the "MOBILE" RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum operates on it's own.
The "MOBILE" RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum recovers and discharges simultaneously and automatically and can be setup anywhere in just minutes.

TO THE PROFESSIONAL PRESSURE WASHER:
The RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum is designed to help comply with EPA guidelines for Pressure Washers and Auto Detailers while being extremely compact and mobile so that it can be set up wherever needed, usually best by a storm drain. The water that is recovered is automatically discharged from the RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum and can be directed to the sanitary sewer or a city permitted area by connecting a 5/8 garden hose to the discharge pump connection. You can also connect as much 5/8 garden hose as needed to reach the sanitary sewer or city permitted area. We believe the RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum is superior to other waste water recovery vacuum systems which often require permanent mounting to a truck or trailer of a mobile pressure wash unit. This vacuum is compact, much lighter, and extremely more mobile than most other waste water recovery systems which are typically big, bulky, heavy, and cost substantially more. In the real world of environmental pressure washing the set up of permanently mounted equipment is not cost effective, are not easily used at job sites (especially large ones), and are not efficient nor practical 99.9% of the time because you always have to park by the storm drain the water is currently flowing too. Most places you will wash at slope in more than one direction. The wash water ends up flowing to different storm drains as you wash. When your vacuum system is mounted to your wash rig as with permanently mounted systems you will have to move your whole wash rig to the current storm drain the water is flowing to. I will tell you right now that permanently mounted systems are very very frustrating to work with. But with the "MOBILE" RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum you can park your wash rig where needed to reach the whole job with your hoses. Then set up the "MOBILE" RIDGID Wet/Dry Automatic Discharge Pump Out Vacuum at the storm drain the water currently flows to. This is the fastest and best way to wash and be EPA compliant.
FYI TO THOSE THINKING ABOUT STARTING A PRESSURE WASHING BUSINESS: If your going to pressure wash the right way then you will have to be EPA compliant. You will need a recovery vacuum. The EPA is very concerned about waste water runoff from pressure washing activities in every state of the U.S.A. They are so concerned that they have very hefty fines to make the city municipalities that you work in concerned about it too. The cities answer to the EPA. You answer to the city and the EPA. So each city enforces EPA compliant pressure washing in differing ways. You need to contact every city you will operate in and find out exactly what they require for waste water runoff from pressure washing activities. You can find information from each city on there web sites under waste water control, guidelines for pressure washers, etc. just to name a few. Eagle One has designed the most practical, powerful, and least expensive waste water recovery vacuum to help you comply with these differing requirements. This vacuum and design comes from years of EPA compliant pressure washing experience. I now what works and what doesn't. To be EPA compliant is no big deal. All you need is the right equipment. You do not need an expensive recovery system like some would have you to believe. These expensive systems do not work in the real world anyway. Being EPA compliant does help protect our waterways, watersheds, rivers, lakes, and oceans. And this is what the EPA wants to protect. Being EPA compliant benefits all of us and it benefits you as well. You will be able to charge more for EPA compliant pressure washing services and rightly so. It takes more effort to be EPA compliant. It takes more effort than some are willing to do. There are still pressure washers out there who are the fly by night types or just old school and do not want to be EPA compliant. They do not recover, They are not EPA compliant. But it isn't worth not doing it the right way. The EPA can hand out fines up to $25,000 dollars per occurance per day. That would put most of us out of business. I don't know about you but I wouldn't like looking over my shoulder all night long hoping a city official or police officer wasn't watching me. So as the old saying goes "if your not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about". Remember it is a little more work to be EPA compliant and you will need to recover your waste water runoff but you can charge substantially more for EPA compliant pressure washing and that makes all the extra work and initial cost worth it. There is no other way to wash. Contact each city you will be washing in for up to date info.
Do it right and reap the benefits.
