Melles Griot 13 PEM 001 2W Broadband Power and Energy Meter
The 13 PEM 001 integrated 2-watt broadband power and energy meter is a high-sensitivity instrument for measuring optical radiation from the ultraviolet to the far infrared.The instrument features a sensitive, but low drift, thermopile sensor head. The sensor disc, made from high-density graphite, does not have a painted, plated, or anodized front surface that can be easily ablated. Consequently, the thermopile has a very high damage threshold. The 13 PEM 001 is ideal for measuring the output power of cw lasers, the average power of pulsed (quasi-cw) laser sources, and the peak power of long-pulse lasers. It can also measure the energy of a laser pulse. This unit has the following features:
* Measures cw power from 10 mW to 2 W
* Spectral Range 200 nm to 20 um (400 nm to 2 um with filter)
* Handles 200 W/cm2 average power, 100 MW/cm2 pulsed power
* Includes broadband (400 nm-2 mm) optical filter to eliminate thermal background radiation
* Displays output in analog and digital formats
* Adjustable tilt base for easy viewing
Sensor is not included. This unit has been tested by an onstaff engineer and it is in excellent condition. The bulb for the backlight on the display is burnt out, but it in no way affects usability.
